Memorial Cup – Day 1

As the rain picked up, the helicopter did a second loop around the harbour.

From here, it was time for the helicopter to drop the package off on the Courtenay.

After receiving the special package, the Coast Guard vessel named Courtenay did a lap around the harbour. Celebrating the trophy and show it off for all to see.

After the Coast Guard vessel had docked, a couple of members from the military arrived to receive the trophy. This was the same in Halifax 3 years prior, except in Halifax they used a frigate at a very expensive cost.

After the trophy was received and back on land, the two military members posed for a few photos at the top of the stairs.

With the Memorial Cup on land, the parade part of the day was almost ready to commence. Onto the Parade.
