As someone who loves the outdoors, I’ve always wanted the opportunity to checkout the Ice Hotel in Quebec City. You rent a room here in the ice hotel and you can spend the night inside it or go to a normal room inside the fully functioning resort next door.

11. Meeting The Sony A1
For the Memorial Cup, Sony had sent me the Sony A1 to play with. I have it for the full duration of the CHL tournament. For the (Edmonton) World Junior’s, I purchased one. For the Halifax/Moncton World Juniors, Sony has again sent me another A1 to use.
10. Charlottetown Islanders vs Shawinigan Cataractes
The Charlottetown Islanders made the QMJHL Finals. I had the opportunity to cover the entire final events in Charlottetown. Although my home team lost, the energy and excitement by the Shawinigan Cataractes was just phenomenal.

9. Twillingate with Lord Stanley’s cup
I was asked to be in Twillingate to Cover the Stanley Cup floating around in the small fishing community of Newfoundland. We drove around in a boat all over town.

8. Touchdown Atlantic
Covering the CFL is a rarity in the East as we don’t have a CFL Team. But the CFL does come down year usually once a year for a game between two teams. This year Edmonton Elks and the Toronto Argonauts.
The Canadian Press sent me to cover the game for their client, the CFL.
