Last night Team Canada took on Team Germany during the IIHF World Juniors that is being hosted in Halifax, Nova Scotia & Moncton, New Brunswick. The Canadians were looking to send a big message after suffering a loss in their first game.
Sending a message to the rest of the teams is exactly what they did. This game reminded me of one of their games in Edmonton at the World Junrio’s there. They came out swinging and didn’t stop.
In the second period, Team Canada kept running away with it.
And by the end of the third, Team Canada had scored 11 goals and smashed 50 sticks (or so it felt like). Let’s hope this continues (the goals, not the sticks).
