Freezing Rain of Halifax

Lawrencetown Beach surfing with Tara Price

Cape Breton Christmas Parades
On November 27, 2019 by jmwebCape Breton hosts many Christmas Parades. It raises spirits especially in spots like Louisbourg where the parade was developed out of a bad news story. Now the CBRM is putting a ban on night-time parades which are often organized and run by the work of many volunteer firefighters. And unsurprisingly, those firefighters have day jobs.
2019 Canadian Federal Election: Andrew Scheer
On October 3, 2019 by jmwebCanadian Progressive Conservative leader Andrew Scheer made a visit to the Maritimes today during the Federal Election. The dual USA-Canada citizen visited Kings Landing in New Brunswick along with Halifax, Nova Scotia. I captured the Nova Scotia side of the tour when Andrew visited Halifax’s May Garden Chinese Restaurant.

They came up short at the QMJHL’s Presidents Cup Final however they get an automatic by to try and win the CHL’s top trophy. The other contenders are: Prince Albert Raiders (WHL), Guelph Storm (OHL), Halifax Moosehead (QMJHL Host) and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL)
