Shawinigan Wins QMJHL’s Presidents Cup
On June 13, 2022 by jmwebSaturday night the Shawinigan Cataractes defeated the Charlottetown Islanders in overtime to win the Presidents Cup finals 4-3. For the fans of Charlottetown’s Eastlink Centre, it was the first time the top QMJHL trophy was awarded in the arena. It also represented the end of a great series between two teams which fought extremely hard

2019 Canadian Federal Election: Andrew Scheer
On October 3, 2019 by jmwebCanadian Progressive Conservative leader Andrew Scheer made a visit to the Maritimes today during the Federal Election. The dual USA-Canada citizen visited Kings Landing in New Brunswick along with Halifax, Nova Scotia. I captured the Nova Scotia side of the tour when Andrew visited Halifax’s May Garden Chinese Restaurant.
