On the last day of my road trip following the Quebec Rempart, they were in Cape Breton visiting Centre 200 for their last QMJHL game. The previous nights game where Moncton was to take on Bathurst was cancelled due to the freezing rain storm going on however the Rempart had already been in Cape Breton.

On June 22nd, the Edmonton Oil Kings took on the Saint John Sea Dogs in CHL Memorial Cup action. The Oil Kings would end up winning in overtime 4-3. Jaxsen Wiebe (Edmonton Oil Kings, #43) would end up scoring in overtime (seen above).

Saturday night the Shawinigan Cataractes defeated the Charlottetown Islanders in overtime to win the Presidents Cup finals 4-3. For the fans of Charlottetown’s Eastlink Centre, it was the first time the top QMJHL trophy was awarded in the arena. It also represented the end of a great series between two teams which fought extremely hard
