Justin Trudeau’s Election Visit to PEI

Cows was gonna be a delight on this hot day. The same thing happened, the prime minister’s bus arrived and it was lots of chatting and a lot of selfies later, he was heading inside for ice cream.
However as I went inside, I noticed a couple that was last in line for ice cream. Mike and Anne Ives of Crossfit 782….at this stage I think I am just gonna call this the amazing people post as Mike and Anne are two more amazing folks! What they didn’t know was that they would be the last customers served before the prime minister.
The next image, of Justin leaving, would later be selected as one of Reuter’s best photos of the day (#17/25).
From here, the prime minister was taken away and there was a briefing with the procurement minister, Anita Anand, while the sunset in the background.
