Shawinigan Wins QMJHL’s Presidents Cup
On June 13, 2022 by jmwebAs with the other overtime games between the Charlottetown Islanders and the Shawinigan Cataractes, things didn’t last long. The Shawinigan Cataractes’ Patrick Dubé (Shawinigan Cataractes, #92) scored winning them the QMJHL’s Presidents Cup.
Being on the ice after the game has mutliple effects. First, you get the wetness in your shoes from the ice as you are concentrating on walking and not slipping. As time goes on, the ice becomes easier to walk on however I did sadly watch one member of the media fall. After checking on him to make sure he was okay, I was back to snapping pics.
Next up, were the handshakes. In the traditional format, both teams lined up to shake hands.
