Shawinigan Wins QMJHL’s Presidents Cup
On June 13, 2022 by jmwebAfter the hand shakes, both teams lined up on the ice for the final awards.
First up was the Guy Lafleur trophy, which was presented by Guy’s son to Mavrik Bourque (Shawinigan Cataractes, #22).
Lastly but definitely not least, was the Presidents Cup which was brought out by two members of the Charlottetown Police.
From here, all the members of the Shawinigan Cataractes had a chance to pass the cup around.
And while getting caught up in the excitement is easy, it was time for me to begin sending in my images. So off I went to the media area to start captioning and filing.
And this wrapped up the Presidents Cup Finals for myself. I am now preparing to head to Saint John to cover the Memorial Cup, which Shawinigan Cataractes will be participating in.
Big thanks to Journal de Montreal/Quebec/TVA Sports for this awesome assignment.
