QMJHL: Quebec Rempart vs Cape Breton Eagles
On January 17, 2023 by jmwebOn the last day of my road trip following the Quebec Rempart, they were in Cape Breton visiting Centre 200 for their last QMJHL game. The previous nights game where Moncton was to take on Bathurst was cancelled due to the freezing rain storm going on however the Rempart had already been in Cape Breton.
For the first period, the Cape Breton Eagles photographer and I would stand in the box in between both teams.
After the first period the Cape Breton Eagles pounced on what looked like a tired Quebec team. In the following periods, that would change. For myself, I was upstairs getting annoyed with the slow WIFI which was taking a long time to upload the images.
For the second period, I had decided to spend most of it on the cat walk about Centre 200. It was absolutely incredible.
Lastly, for the third period, I was down on the concourse using a long lens.
With just seconds to spare, the Quebec Rempart pulled out all the stops. Coming back to score the game winning goal.
This would conclude the final game of this road trip. From here, it was back to PEI.
